FINANCIAL AID
Students need adequate financial resources in order to attend and complete educational programs. Research has shown that financial aid – especially state funded need-based grants – is positively associated with educational enrollment and students who received financial aid persist in studies better than or as well as students who do not receive aid. Programs can provide financial assistance to students by covering the fees for college, postsecondary education, entrance exams and applications, and awarding scholarships.
Most of our financial aid programs are awarded from the State of Alaska Job Service. We can help you maneuver through that process.
