The need for renewable energy education and training at all levels is globally recognized. During the last three decades many countries across the globe have initiated academic programs on renewable energy technologies and related aspects. Energy plays a significant and essential role in developing a nation’s economy and social growth. However, the decreasing use of oil, gas and coal as energy sources has persuaded the government to develop sources of renewable energy.
